Secrets in Dental History

I good friend, which will remain anonymous but whom I will call Jane Doe, has been a great friend through thick and thin. We met in middle school and it was years later I got to learn more about her. We are both introverted people so it was kind of amazing that we met and were able to open up with one another. Next thing you knew we became the bestest of friends and also had most of our classes together. One day at lunch, she chipped her tooth on a glass bottle- it just came up and she missed her mouth/tongue and got herself right on her front right tooth. After she shrieked in pain, we both made it to the nurse’s office; I was there for emotional support. Anyway, Jane and her mom invited me to come with them after school to the dentist to see what could be done about Jane’s obviously chipped tooth. It was then that I learned all about Jane’s dental and dental implants west allis history. She had never told me but her upper two eye teeth never came in with her set of adult teeth; X-rays show that she never had them. So two of her teeth that I looked at when she smiled were implants and I never had the slightest clue. Not that it is a big deal, I just thought that with how close we were that she might have shared that with me or that it may have come up previous to this. The chip was not severe or really all that noticeable so the cosmetic dentist suggested waiting before they took any dental action. None of her other teeth were affected, so it turned out to be okay.
