New Santa Barbara Trendy Restaurants
I am not sure I have ever seen such nonsense in a public place. I would assume the behavior is much like anyone else elsewhere. In order to make themselves really feel special, they must abuse the wait staff. I don’t think they recognize they aren’t putting out the look they intend. We won’t give up getting really great food in trendy Santa Barbara restaurants because of these people, but they do limit when I will go. There’s my husband to contend with as well. He is much like me. He loves the meals, but he always feels uncomfortable there. I think it is because of the dress code, and for a construction worker, I can tell where that would be an issue. When he does dress up, he looks excellent. The problem is getting him to want to do it. I guess it’s for the best though. If we went to upscale restaurants all the time we would certainly be broke by now.
