Bahrain Hydroponics Systems Training and Exhibition Centre
The first hydroponics gardening training and exhibition centre is to be opened in Bahrain and is set to induce a lot of excitement withing the gardening community of the middle east.
The main aim of the exhibition is to encourage hydroponics gardening amongst the local community as a viable business endeavour.
To help with this goal, an investor is to be selected by the Manama Municipal Council, who is to run the exhibition and sell the produce to the local market. What a fantastic proof-of-principle idea.
Excitingly, the opening of the hydroponics exhibition centre will be followed by the encouragement of all apartment buildings to have hydroponics systems installed on their roof tops. The entire city, in time, will be transformed into a self-sustaining oasis.
The new hydroponics training and exhibition centre is to be opened at the Salamaniya Gardens in 2012.
