Is Powerleveling Right for Your WoW Toon?
Ok, so you’ve rolled your new character in the Word of Warcraft and you’re looking at the daunting fact of having to kill those 14 million mobs (again?) to get to the highest level. Do you go for it or do you look into power leveling?
If you’re new to the game then power leveling is a really bad idea. You’ll get to the highest levels, all right, but you’ll have no idea of how to play your character well enough to participate in the end-game content (which is the whole point of powerleveling, right?) Other players will be quite open about your skills so a thick skin is recommended. Now, if this is you ninth character, then that’s not a consideration.
You can buy your levels, where you simply talk to party A, given them access to you account, give them real cash, and come back in a few weeks to a fresh level 80 character with good gear and lots of gold.
You could buy a character, a pre-made level 80, for not too many hundreds of dollars, which is a way some people choose to go. Of course, if you don’t know how to play that level 80…
The problem with the above, and a couple of other methods, is the risk of having your entire account banned. Duuno about you, but that would spoil my fun.
To be 100% safe and legal, account-wise, you could consult one of the many wow leveling guides out there, or even look for a more specific guide, such as one on Rogue leveling. You’ll be doing it yourself, and it will take longer, but you’ll know how to play your character and you’ll be a asset to the end-game teams. Not a bad trade-off.
Hey - so nice of you to stop by! I hope you leave a comment.
